Barrowlands guilds guide: weekly goals, the Guild Hall and the boss
How guilds work in Barrowlands: creating or joining one, roles, weekly goals, Guild Hall levels, the focus perk, the weekly boss, milestones and guild chat.
A guild is a team of Barrowlands players who train together. You do not have to play at the same time: what each member trains counts toward shared goals. This guide explains how it works.
Joining or creating a guild
Open the Guild page. You can join an open guild, apply to an invite-only one, or create your own for 10,000 coins with a name and a tag of 2 to 4 characters. The leader chooses whether the guild is open or invite-only. Your tag shows in chat next to your name.
Roles and size
- Leader, officer and member. Leaders and officers accept applications and choose the weekly focus.
- A guild starts with room for 20 players and gets 2 more spots for every Guild Hall level.
- If you leave or are removed, you cannot join another guild for 24 hours. This stops guild hopping.
Weekly goals
Every week (Monday UTC) there are four goals: gathering, crafting, fighting and cunning. Each needs 20,000 experience per member in that group (cunning counts half). Training counts after you have been in the guild for 3 hours. Every finished goal gives the Guild Hall experience, and finishing all four gives a bonus.
The Guild Hall
The Hall has 10 levels. Higher levels make room for more members, and the leader or officers pick a focus: a group of skills that gives every member +1 to 4% experience for the week. It never goes above 4%.
The weekly boss
Every week a new guild boss appears. The experience your fights earn counts as damage. When the guild defeats it, the Hall gains experience, and members who dealt 1,000 or more damage claim coins.
Milestones and the Depths
Guild milestones pay coins once per player (after 3 days in the guild). There are also milestones for floors cleared together in the Barrow Depths.
Guild chat
Each guild has its own private chat room, for members only.
No pay to win
Premium and Gems give no guild power. Everything here is earned by training.
