Barrowlands: a free idle RPG you can play in your browser

Barrowlands is a free idle RPG that runs in your browser. You pick something to do, close the tab, and your hero keeps working. When you come back, there are new levels, loot and coins waiting. There is nothing to download, and it works on a phone, a tablet or a computer.

What is an idle RPG?

In an idle (or incremental) game, progress does not stop when you stop playing. You choose a task, such as mining copper or fighting goblins, and the game keeps counting. You check in when you like, spend what you earned and pick the next goal. There is no rush and no pressure, so it fits around work, school and sleep.

What you can do in Barrowlands

• Train 18 skills. Woodcutting, Mining, Fishing, Cooking, Smithing, Firemaking, Thieving, Fletching, Runecrafting, Enchanting, Farming, Prayer, Attack, Strength, Defence, Hitpoints, Magic and Ranged.
• Fight monsters. Melee, bows and spells all work, and you make your own gear and food.
• Delve the Barrow Depths. An endless dungeon you can enter alone or with a party of up to five. See the Barrow Depths guide.
• Join a guild. Weekly goals, a weekly boss and a Guild Hall that helps every member. See the guilds guide.
• Trade with other players on an open market with buy orders and sell offers. See the market guide.
• Chase level 99 and earn capes of mastery. See the capes and mastery guide.

While you are away

Regular players earn for up to 12 hours away. Premium removes that limit. Plans let you line up several tasks one after the other, so a long break is never wasted. Farming grows by the clock, even while the page is closed.

Free and fair

Barrowlands is free to play, and everything is earned in the game. Gems and Premium are shared with our other game, Ironbarrow, and they never make fights or guilds easier. One free account works in both games.

How to start
